Dubai’s culinary scene has witnessed a significant shift as Avatara has relocated to Dubai Hills. Known for its soulful Indian cuisine that emphasizes pure, clean, and natural produce, Avatara has earned a coveted Michelin Star, making it a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts.
New Location, New Experience
As of October 1, Avatara bid farewell to its previous location at Voco Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road and opened its doors at a new, beautifully designed dining room at Dubai Hills Business Park. The restaurant’s interior reflects its commitment to natural and clean cuisine, with shades of lime, mint, and emerald adorning the walls.
Floral-printed chairs surround crisp white table-clothed tables, and planters and trees are strategically placed throughout the restaurant, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere.
A Menu Inspired by Chakras
With the change of location comes a change of menu. Avatara now offers an exciting new Chakra-inspired menu. The 16-course tasting menu is designed to balance energies as well as flavors, turning each course into a piece of art.
The Avatara Experience menu is priced at Dhs495, and there are also gluten-free and vegan options available. A special kids degustation menu of 12 courses is offered at Dhs395. Guests also have the option to enhance their dining experience with either a standard or premium wine pairing, carefully selected to complement each dish.
A Culinary Hub
Avatara joins a collection of restaurants at Dubai Hills Business Park, including Hoe Lee Kow and Reif Japanese Kushiyaki by chef Reif Othman, a new gastrobar named Duo, and a relaxed pub, The Tap House. This move places Avatara in the heart of Dubai’s vibrant culinary scene, promising a unique dining experience for its guests.
Avatara is the brainchild of the same culinary masterminds behind Amara, which remains at voco Hotel Sheikh Zayed Road, and the two Michelin Star Tresind Studio on The Palm. With its relocation to Dubai Hills, Avatara continues to redefine vegetarian fine dining in the city.
