The renowned Irish boyband ‘Westlife’ is all set to perform in Abu Dhabi this October, marking an event in the capital’s music calendar. The band will be headlining the opening weekend of the popular Club Social festival, which is scheduled to take place on Friday, October 27, and Saturday, October 28.
Westlife, consisting of Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan, and Nicky Byrne, has been a beloved musical group for over two decades.
They first captured hearts with their debut single, “Swear It Again,” and have since released numerous hits including “What Makes A Man,” “World of Our Own,” and “Flying Without Wings.” Fans attending the Club Social festival can look forward to hearing these classics and more.
The Club Social festival, known for its alfresco raving, dining adventures, circus performers, and fun activations, has found a new home this season at Yas Island’s Etihad Park. In previous years, the event was held at Yas Links Golf Course.
Alongside Westlife, the opening weekend line-up also includes Lebanese singer Elissa and DJ Rhodes, promising a diverse range of music for attendees. However, the specific day on which Westlife will perform is yet to be confirmed.
Ticket details and prices for the event are still under wraps. Last year, general admission started from Dhs165 for a single day and Dhs235 for a weekend-long pass. Updates regarding ticket information will be provided as soon as they are confirmed.
For those who missed Westlife’s performance last year at the Etihad Arena, this is an excellent opportunity to see the band back in action on Yas. This event is expected to be a major highlight in Abu Dhabi’s music scene this October.
