Anantara Mina Al Arab (2023)
The much-anticipated Anantara eco-resort, located in the Mina Al Arab district, is set to open in Q4, 2023.
The resort will feature 174 rooms and suites, including Maldives-style overwater villas.
The resort will also house signature restaurants, an all-day dining restaurant, a pool bar, a lobby lounge, and a luxury spa.
Cloud7 Al Sawan (2024)
Next year, Cloud7 Hotels will introduce a unique glamping experience in Ras Al Khaimah.
The eco-focused desert glamping site will be situated next to a working animal farm, offering guests a range of activities from farming experiences to desert dune adventures.
Cloud7 Jebel Jais (2024)
Cloud7 plans to open a second glamping site at Jebel Jais in 2024. This glamorous campsite will offer luxe mountain living and a chance to learn about local flora and fauna.

A new budget-friendly Rove hotel is currently under construction on Marjan Island.
The beach resort, expected to be completed by the end of 2024, will feature 441 rooms and an array of artworks reflecting the serene setting of Al Marjan Island.
Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort (2023)
French-born Sofitel is expanding into the Northern Emirates with the opening of Sofitel Al Hamrah Beach Resort.
The 300-room property will offer direct access to Al Hamra Golf Club, Al Hamra Marina and Yacht Club, and Al Hamra Mall.
Earth Shore (2025)
Earth Hotels will open its second UAE property, Earth Shore, on Marjan Island in 2025. This contemporary seaside property will offer vibrant beachfront living across 265 rooms.
Le Meridien Marjan Island Resort & Spa (2026)
The 350-room Le Meridien Marjan Island is set to open in 2026. The resort will feature seven restaurants and bars, a gym, a swimming pool, a spa, and kids club.
W Al Marjan Island (2027)
W Hotels is adding a new property to its UAE portfolio in Ras Al Khaimah. The contemporary resort, slated to open in early 2027, will feature 300 rooms and suites, a stylish pool space, and a trio of restaurants.
Wynn Marjan (2027)
Wynn Marjan, the brand’s first Middle East property, will open in 2027.
The multi-billion dollar resort will feature over 1,000 rooms, world-class shopping, an exclusive spa, more than 10 restaurants and lounges, extensive entertainment choices, and a casino.
Nobu Marjan Island (TBC)
Nobu Hospitality is set to open an upscale hotel, branded residences, and a signature Nobu restaurant on Marjan Island. The opening date has not yet been confirmed.
Sajj A Mantis Collection Mountain Lodge (TBC)
From Accor’s Mantis Collection brand comes Sajj, a new mountain lodging option that will open on Jebel Jais.
The retreat will comprise 35 luxury lodges and offer creative experiences, mindful pursuits, and guided treks.
The Westin Ras Al Khaimah (2024 or 2025)
The upcoming Westin Ras Al Khaimah, another property from Marriott International, is currently under construction next to Marjan Island.
The five-star resort is expected to welcome guests in 2024 or 2025.
