FlyDubai has launched return flights to Penang and Langkawi, two of Malaysia’s most popular tourist destinations. This move is set to provide UAE holidaymakers with an affordable gateway to these paradisiacal islands.
Malaysia, known for its lush jungles, unspoiled wilderness, and breathtakingly beautiful islands, offers a unique alternative to the well-trodden paths of Thailand’s islands.
Penang and Langkawi, in particular, have established strong tourism influxes due to their individual charm and the convenience they offer to tourists. Starting from February 10, 2024, FlyDubai will operate daily flights to both these Malaysian marvels.
The return Economy Class Lite fares from Dubai (DXB Terminal 3) to Penang will start from just Dhs2,700, while fares to Langkawi will begin at Dhs3,500.
For those seeking a more luxurious travel experience, business class tickets are available starting from Dhs11,000.
The flights can be booked now for travel dates beginning in February 2024 via the FlyDubai app, the company’s website, or by calling their customer service line.
However, potential travelers are advised to check visa requirements for their specific nationality before booking.
Some passport holders may need to acquire a visa in advance, others can get one upon arrival, and some may not require a visa at all for stays of less than 90 days.
This new service by FlyDubai is expected to boost tourism in Malaysia and provide UAE residents with a fresh and exciting travel option.
