The Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) and IMG have confirmed the dates for the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open 2024.
The nine-day WTA 500 tournament is set to take place from February 3 to 11, 2024, at the Zayed Sports City’s International Tennis Centre in Abu Dhabi. This announcement comes as a follow-up to the highly successful inaugural event held in 2023.
The tournament will feature some of the biggest names in women’s tennis, including Grand Slam champions and finalists, as well as emerging talents.
The 2023 event saw participation from tennis icons such as Rybakina, Jelena Ostapenko, Bianca Andreescu, Ons Jabeur, Danielle Collins, Daria Kasatkina, and Veronika Kudermetova.
The Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open 2024 promises an exciting competition with a prize fund of USD 900,000. In addition to the monetary reward, players will also have the opportunity to earn ranking points.
The tournament will include 28 players in the singles draw and 16 pairings in the doubles draw.
Fans can look forward to a range of activities beyond the matches themselves. The Fan Village will offer interactive fun, food trucks, and family-friendly entertainment.
While tickets are not yet available for purchase, interested spectators can register on the official website for early access to ticket sales.
