The world’s largest fun run is back for its fifth edition and is set to take over Sheikh Zayed Road on Sunday, November 26.
The event is part of the final weekend of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, an initiative by HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai.
The Dubai Run: A Unique Experience
The Dubai Run is not just a race; it’s an opportunity to improve your health, spend quality time with family and friends, and experience the city in a unique way.
Participants can choose to walk, jog, or run the distance, making it accessible to all fitness levels. The run will commence at the stunning Museum of the Future, offering participants a choice between a 5km or 10km distance.
Iconic Route and Landmarks
This iconic fun run passes some of Dubai’s most beloved landmarks. Participants can jog past the Dubai Mall, Dubai Opera, and Burj Khalifa.
Seasoned runners can even make their way to the beautiful Dubai Canal. For families, the 5km route is recommended due to its flat terrain, while more experienced runners might prefer the 10km route that loops back towards the World Trade Centre and ends at DIFC.
Registration Details
Interested participants need to register for the event. Registrations for the Dubai Run will open on October 16 via dubairun.com. Last year, the event saw a massive turnout of 193,000 runners, joggers, and walkers, and a similar turnout is expected this year.
